This 3.0m Aluminium Flanged Gate Post is designed to complement the Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate from First Fence. Constructed from lightweight yet sturdy aluminium, it provides a heavy-duty and versatile solution for gate installations.
Heavy-Duty and Versatile Design
With a 3000mm height, a 150mm x 150mm box section, and a 5mm wall thickness, this post is built for maximum strength and durability.
At the base, it features a flanged plate, allowing for secure bolting onto hard ground, such as concrete. For installations on softer ground, the base plate can be removed, enabling the post to be dug in and concreted for added stability.
Corrosion-Resistant and Weatherproof
Aluminium is naturally rust-resistant, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use. It is especially suited to saline environments, making it an excellent choice for properties near the coast where sea air can cause corrosion. Additionally, aluminium becomes stronger in lower temperatures, ensuring durability in harsh weather conditions.
Ideal for Various Installations
Designed to match aluminium driveway gates, these posts can be used as stand-alone supports when no wall is available or as gap fillers between a wall and a gate. However, if the gate is being installed between two existing walls, posts may not be necessary.

Each post is powder-coated in black or grey as standard, providing a sleek, modern finish while also offering protection against wear and weather damage. Bespoke colour options are available upon request.

Note: The posts come with base plates that can be bolted down using M10 x 75mm Ground Anchors. If installing on softer ground, the base plate can be removed, allowing the post to be concreted in for enhanced stability.
