All you need is the equipment listed below: EQUIPMENT NEEDED: battery drill, tape measure, spirit level, step ladder. – We recommend that a minimum of 2 people build the pergola, and with basic DIY skills the Box Pergola should take 3-4 hours to construct. – Instructional video provided. – The timber is tanalised and pressure treated and includes a 10 year guarantee against rot and insect damage. – FREE Mainland UK Delivery! Deliveries are made by our own team of drivers in our fleet of 3.5 ton vans. DELIVERY TIME: We aim to deliver all orders within 5-15 working days. Most orders delivered in 10-15 working days. In periods of high demand delivery time may increase. DELIVERY PROCESS: 1) Post confirmation email, next contact from us will be by text. When we’ve booked in your delivery date, we will text you on the Thursday/Friday the week before your delivery date to confirm the delivery date. We may contact you at shorter notice to confirm a quicker delivery date, if slots open up unexpectedly. NOTE: we will likely be unable to deliver on a date of your choosing. Your order will be delivered the day we are due to your area. If you request a new delivery date, you may need to wait up to 10 working days extra. 2) The driver will contact you on the afternoon/evening of the day before the delivery date to confirm approx delivery time. Deliveries will typically be between 6:30am-9:30pm, but some areas such as London/the South East may require an earlier drop off time. We cannot provide more advanced notice than this. 3) The driver will check if you anticipate issues locating/accessing the property. IMPORTANT: we only deliver to the front of the property e.g. to a driveway or front garden immediately abutting the pavement/public highway. If there is no space at the front of the property we will deliver kerbside and it will be your responsibility to move the goods onto the property. We cannot carry goods through your property for insurance reasons. We deliver using our 3.5t flatbed vans, so we are usually able to deliver to properties down/on narrow tracks or narrow streets. 4) You do not need to be present to take the delivery. 5) If we are unable to deliver your goods on the delivery date due to bad weather, illness, breakdowns or any other reason beyond our control, we will arrange a new delivery date as soon as possible. We do not accept any claims for compensation for bookings for tradesmen/other contractors.
- DISCLAIMERS: Timber is a natural product which can have imperfections such as shake (surface cracks), discolouration and knots. Any of the mentioned are not covered by the 10-year guarantee. Meeting building regulations is the joint responsibility of the builder and the landowner, not of the supplier.
- TIMBER TREATMENT: The timber can be painted, but any paint must only be applied when the timber is completely dry. We recommended oil-based products.
- We offer a variety of sizes of our Box Pergola, but also offer our Standard Pergola, XL Pergola and other garden products such as timber Gazebos and raised timber garden Ponds.
- All fixing screws and instructions provided, and all logs cut to length. Base plate kit included.
- Heavy duty 150 x 150 posts ensure a strong, sturdy construction. We offer a 10 year guarantee against rot for our tanalised timber.
