The Festool DOMINO Beech 8.0mm x 36mm are designed with a special shape in combination with expanding glue pockets and longitudinal grooves which give the dowels a secure grip. This ensures absolutely twist-proof connections and maximum stability. Added to this is significantly faster processing: The first dowel hole is aligned with extreme ease and routed accurately using flip stops, immediately securing the workpieces that are to be joined so that they are exact and flush with the edge. The cross cut of a DOMINO dowel corresponds to that of three round dowels of the same drill diameter, making it extremely steady in comparison. These rotation-proof dowels offer better stability and sturdiness than their circular counterparts. The laterally projecting guide ribs centre the dowel in the middle of the DOMINO milling groove and thus ensure perfect alignment of workpieces.
