Balanced Connection – XLR PIN 2 is connected to the Tip (of the 6.35mm Plug), XLR PIN 3 is connected to the Ring, XLR PIN 1 is connected to the Sleeve. A balanced connection will help to stop interference and produce a much stronger un-distorted signal.
This adapter allows a 6.35mm plug to be connected, to create a XLR male connection. This adapter can also be used in both directions and is great for coupling 2 different types of cables together.
