Used for – When crimping an RJ45 connector onto a CAT5e/CAT6 cable, our RJ45 strainrelief boots are used not only to prevent release tabs from being snagged or snappedoff your RJ45 connectors, but they also provide strain relief for yourfreshly crimped cables (allowing them to be bent in a multitude of directionswithout causing damage).
Our cable boots can also be used to colour code cables, perfect formultiple cable installs when identifying individual cables can be difficult. Availablein the following colours, please search our shop:

Installation – Before crimping an RJ45 connector onto the end of your chosencable, simply slide a cable strain relief boot over down the cable. This canthen be pushed back up to RJ45 connector after the connector has been crimpedonto the cable.
