Alukap®-XR Hip Bars are designed to work in conjunction with the standard Alukap®-XR 45mm and 60mm glazing bars. The Alukap®-XR Hip bar is designed with a full aluminium snap cover, meaning that perfect leak-proof abutments can be made from Jack Rafter Caps to the face of the upright of the Alukap®-XR Hip Bar unencumbered, and then the aluminium cover cap is simply snapped on afterwards providing an umbrella affect as a double protection. This makes glazing Hip Bar connections faster and more secure.
