Overview – Commonly used to connect devices with ‘3.5mm 4 pole jack sockets’ together, such a camcorder to a portable TV. Please don’t get this cable confused with a standard stereo cable, this cable has 4 poles (3 black rings on the jack), not 3 poles (2 black rings).
