2-way Stereo Loudspeaker Switch & Volume Control Unit
Overview:
Our splitter unit can be placedbetween an amplifiers output and two sets of stereo loudspeakers. Thissplitter has a volume control that allows you to control the volume of 1 pair ofspeakers. However, the amplifier that everything is connected to will act as amaster volume control. The volume dial on this unit will allow you to drop thevolume of 1 pair of speakers but the max limit is set at the amplifier.
Both pairs of speakers can be turned on / off individually using the switch.
The switch has a max wattage rating of 60W RMS per channel.
What you should know – It is normal to notice avolume drop per speaker when more than one pair of speakers is switched on.
Things to consider:
The switches on the front allow either just themain speakers to be on or the remote speakers. If both the switches are set to’off’, to prevent your amp from blowing, the main speakers will come on. Toswitch off all speakers, your amp will need to be turned off too. The volumefor your main speakers can be controlled by your amplifier, the volume controlson this switch allow pair 2 to be turned up or down.
