Description
C16 treated timber is specified when the strength is required in an outside environment. Treated C16 timber is often found in roof rafters, timber framing, ceiling joists, floor joists and deck joists and other garden buildings.
Features:

- Easier to handle quality machined, kiln dried C16 graded construction timber which produces a neater faster finish.
- Strength graded to C16 in accordance with BS EN 14081 and BSEN519:1995.
- Provides guaranteed structural performance.
- High pressure preservative treated to BS 8417 (UC2) which carries a 60 year service life against insect attack and wood rotting fungi.

- Planed timber sizes are nominal and have smaller finished sizes, generally between 2-5mm. Timber size will also vary with moisture content – Wood naturally expands and contracts with moisture content so some changes in size should be expected.
