Acer ‘Red Flamingo’ is a unique tree offering year-round appeal. Even in winter, its bright red stems are striking, maturing into branches adorned with white striations. Young leaves emerge with pink-flushed variations that develop into a marbling of green, pink, and cream. This slow-growing Acer can be cultivated as a multi-stemmed shrub or a small tree, and it thrives as a handsome specimen in containers. Expected height and spread after 10-20 years: 4m x 6m (13ft x 20 ft). Supplied as 1 x 3 Litre Potted Plant. Growing Information: Plant Acers in moist, fertile, well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It’s essential to provide shelter from strong winds, which can otherwise scorch the leaves.
