With these Forgefix Loft Legs (12 Pack) they help by raising the loft floor by 175mm for a more energy efficient loft storage which stops compression within the insulation ensuring the U-values are maintained. This product is extremely strong and lightweight with a very easy installation.

• They are screwed directly to the ceiling joists. Loft boards (tongue and groove loft panels or 18mm chipboard sheets) are then screwed on top of the Loft Legs to create a raised platform above the level of insulation.
• Squashing or compressing insulation reduces its effectiveness by over 50%. Homeowners have traditionally had to make a choice with their lofts, full insulation OR usable storage space, the Loft Leg allows for both.
• They are manufactured in the UK from recycled materials.
