K-Rend K1 Silicone render finish is suitable for use with most render spray machines where it is ideal for larger projects but it can also be hand applied. 1 coat requires approximately 1.6kg/mm thickness/sqm at a nominal thickness of 16-20mm. K Rend silicone scraped texture renders form an attractive range of one coat applications plastered directly onto block work. They should also be used as a finish in conjunction with K Rend base coat. To achieve the required finish, float to a level surface then scrape the complete surface evenly with a scraping tool when the render is set but not hard, removing 2mm, to produce a uniform texture.
