Description
Features:
- The fitting is suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems.
- It can be used in tight spaces where there is insufficient room to form a bend or employed as part of a crossover tee (often with a copper system the crossover 45° bend would be a spigot).
- The fitting can be also be utilised in stair bulkheads where the pipework needs to follow a 45° slope.
- Generally the larger the pipe diameter the harder it is to get a bend tight enough to accommodate changes of direction in a confined space.
- Push-fit plastic fitting for the connection of plastic and copper pipe.
- Simply push the fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place.
- Should the need arise to demount the connection unlock the nut and push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release.
- The fitting ensures an easier working environment in confined places and removes the need for hot works on site.
- Installation can be reduced by around 40% against traditional fixing methods.
- Suitable for hot and cold water and central heating systems.
- Grip and Seal connection.
- Lead free and non toxic.
- No scale build up and Corrosion Free.
- With all plastic pipes the relevant manufacturer’s pipe insert is required.
- Can be used with copper pipe to BS EN 1057 & Speedfit Barrier Pipe to BS7291.
