READY TO PLANT – Supplied in trays of 6 plants, to plant straight away into garden beds and borders or in patio pots, containers and hanging baskets. Once established, they will virtually look after themselves, multiplying with more and more plants each year. CULINARY USES – Strawberries are easy to grow and when harvested can be eaten fresh, can be frozen or preserved. They are ideal for making into juices, sauces, compotes and jams or can be used in cooking and baking. GROWING CONDITIONS – Best grown in well draining slightly acid soil in full sunlight. Too much sunlight can scorch the leaves. Strawberries can grow in a variety of soil conditions but if planting in poorer soil it’s highly recommended to improve the soil conditions before planting.
