- All our products are made from wood which is a raw material, therefore, there may be some splits and cracks that can appear in the wood from time to time which may come and go with changes in the weather. There is no need for any further treatment as the pressure treatment process can protect against rot for up to 15 years, however, like all wood, it will weather and season naturally over time. The products will turn an attractive silvery grey over the years. We would advise adding a furniture oil or linseed oil based product once a year just to replenish and moisturise the wood, which will also delay the weathering process. The timber can be painted or coloured using most softwood paints and stains if desired.
- Before you commence the assembly process, we recommend that you read assembly instructions thoroughly beforehand to familiarize yourself with the assembly process and to also check that you have the correct components. If for any reason you need assistance, you can find our contact details on the top of page of these instructions. We highly recommend that any assembly is carried out on a flat, level surface if possible and that you use another person to assist you if necessary.

- Please note that the advertised size is the length of the top rafters, the first dimension is for six runners on top and the second dimension is for two main beams. To calculate the footprint between the inner edges of the uprights you need to take away 1m from the main beams and 42cm from six rafters. However, on the main beams, posts can be moved slightly closer or furthered from the pergola rafter ends.

- Rafters are made from constructional grade pressure-treated timber (38mm x 138mm). Solid 95mm x 95mm corner posts pressure-treated. 32mm x 125mm decking boards, grooved and pressure-treated. 38mm x 89mm base frame. All required fixings to assemble the pergola kit are supplied (all fixings are corrosion resistant), however, wall fixings are not supplied, you will need wall plugs and screws suitable for your wall material. Please employ a tradesman if in doubt. If you don’t see the size that you need, please ask us about our custom-sized pergolas.

- Please note that the advertised size is the length of the top rafters, the actual footprint between the outer edges of the uprights will be different. We strongly advise checking the dimensional drawings for your chosen size before completing your purchase.
- Each kit is supplied in knockdown form for easy on-site assembly and to allow access to the site location. Easy to assemble and only requires a screwdriver and 10mm socket head (preferably battery-operated). Assembly instructions will be included with the 24-hour notification email.
