Apply adhesive evenly and press tiles firmly into place, using tile spacers to maintain consistent grout joints. Cut tiles carefully where required using an appropriate tile cutter or wet saw. Once the adhesive has fully set, fill joints with a suitable wall tile grout, removing excess with a damp sponge before it hardens. After the grout has cured, wipe the surface clean and, if using cement-based grout, apply a sealer to protect against staining. Always follow the adhesive and grout manufacturer’s instructions for mixing, application, and drying times.
- Instructions for Care – Metro tiles are low-maintenance and easy to care for. Clean regularly with warm water and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, using a mild pH-neutral cleaner when needed, then rinse and dry to prevent residue. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach, or strong acids and alkalis, as these can damage the glaze or grout. The glazed surface doesn’t require sealing, but any cement-based grout should be sealed after installation to resist staining. Wipe spills promptly and clean grout lines periodically to maintain appearance. In wet areas, more frequent cleaning may be needed to prevent soap or hard-water build-up.
