Description
Cembrit Jutland is the most cost effective double lap slate for creating a natural looking roof. With a low leading edge your roof slope will have the neat, low profile appearance of a genuine slate roof without the shadow lines thicker concrete tiles create.
Features:
- Cut with hand tools – Scribed and snapped, with hand tools, fibre cement slates are easy to carry and work on the roof. They lend themselves to complex roof shapes with fine detailing.
- Lightweight – At around ½ the weight per square meter of a concrete tile, fibre cement slates allow for savings in the roof frame’s structure and transport costs.
- They are finished with a high quality, semi-matt acrylic coloured coating to the top face and edges and a tinted, high performance binder to the back face.
- No dust suppression required – No need for power sources and ground based, water dust suppression. Slates can be worked on the scaffolding and roof slope.
- Non-combustible – Cembrit products are classified in accordance with EN 13501-1 and are fire rated, at a minimum as A2 non-combustible or higher.
- BBA certified – 3rd party, independently audited certification that proves fitness for purpose and compliance with building regulations.
- BCC approved – Approved for use on Birmingham City Council renewal projects, The UK’s largest independent specifying local authority.
- Complex roofs – Easy to fit to verge, dormer, hip, valley abutment and protrusion. Ideal for the imaginative pitched roof design.
- Commodity price – The lowest cost, slated effect that can be achieved without the shadow lines thicker concrete tiles create.
- Jutland slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed.
- Easy to handle and install.
